Steph has been a keen gardener for many years. Gardening is her passion, from growing new plants from seed or cuttings to climbing ladders and tackling overgrown climbers! A very keen Plants Woman who love's to create varied and interesting planting schemes which can bring year long pleasure.
In 2004, Steph was trained by the institute of 'Women Returners' run by the Women’s Farm & Garden Association, which meant spending 3 days a week training with the Head Gardener of Appleton Manor near Oxford. Gaining hands-on experience in every aspect of gardening from design and border layout (garden designed by Chelsea Gold Medal holder Arne Maynard) to vegetable growing, lawn maintenance, pruning of shrubs, trees and hedges and propagation, this was an ideal opportunity to test her ideas, schemes and techniques. She then spent a further 18 months there expanding her extensive knowledge and experience and also took on additional gardens and challenges closer to home.

Stuart has recently left corporate industry to take on a fresh challenge within the Horticultural industry. His practical skills allows him to tackle various projects, from design to implementation, but more importantly is his recognition to listen to customers, determining and understanding customers requirements before design and further customer consultation. Working with Steph, he provides the necessary support to bring to their customers garden environments that can be enjoyed 365 days a year.
Recognising the need for reliability, quality and best service to their customers, Stuart and Steph set up Jardinièrs to cater for that market requirement. The home is a prized procession, and their gardens, homes and decorative features are often overlooked yet can be a source of immense pleasure and add value to those homeowners both in terms of monetary value and unmeasured but infinite personal value.
